My research focus is to better understand emergent properties of (models of) dynamical systems by developing information-theoretic measures. Application domains range from social to biological phenomena. My theoretical topics include synergy, information processing, and causal discovery.

In this project I coordinate the computational and theoretical aspects of our scientific activities.
